Load Shedding Schedule |
Load Shedding Overview
Customers are informed that Emfuleni Local Municipality has been requested to participate
in the national load shedding program. In order to reduce the resulting inconvenience
as far as possible a schedule has been drawn up to indicate which areas are intended
to be affected at what time. The different stages are indicative
of the quantity of electricity that Eskom needs to have removed from the network. Take note that
you can be switched on or off a few minutes late.
Customers must also note that although your area might be indicated to be switched
off at a specific time, this might not always happen as we will only switch off
the required quantity of electricity, required by Eskom, without necessarily affecting
all the consumers in such areas.
